With art, the possibilities are endless!
For Kindergarten–12th Grade Students
From drawings on the fridge to paintings on local art gallery walls, Stride loves and appreciates the art young people create. That’s why we’re calling all student artists in grades K–12 to submit their original creative pieces of artwork in this year’s National Art Competition for a chance to win great prizes.
Join students across the country in creating digital or physical artworks to share on a national stage. Possible art mediums include painting, drawings, prints, and digital illustrations.
You choose the art medium. We choose the winners! Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, and technical skill. Each grade band (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–12) with have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner with 1st place receiving a $1,000 Amazon e-gift card and a Microsoft Surface Tablet!

Prizes
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for each grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). First-place winners will receive a $1,000 Amazon e-gift card and a Microsoft Surface Tablet. Second place winners will receive a $500 Amazon e-gift card and third place winners will receive a $150 Amazon e-gift card.
Eligibility
The Stride Art Competition is open to all students in grades K–12. Students enrolled at Stride-K12 powered schools as well as students at any other school in the U.S. can submit their artwork to be considered.
Considered Art Mediums and Exceptions
Art mediums can include paint (watercolor, tempera, poster, acrylic, etc.), drawings (pencil, charcoal, colored chalk, pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, etc.), prints (handmade stencil, gadget printing, collagraphs, block prints, etc.), and digital illustration. 3D works of art and photography will not be considered for this competition.
Deadline for Entries
All entries must be received no later than 5 PM (ET) on May 23, 2022. Entries submitted after the deadline will not be eligible to win.
Winners
Winners will be announced live at 1:30 PM (ET) on June 21, 2022 via K12, A Stride Company’s Facebook page.
